The České Vrbné Captaincy is one of the information centers in the Infopoint Vltava network. It is near the České Vrbné pier and provides various tourist information and rentals of sports gear, bicycles, inline skates, Nordic walking poles, motorboats, etc.
It is also a stop on the regular boat service between České Budějovice and Purkarec.
