Jindřichův Hradec Municipal Information Center has been open to the public since 1 August 1995. In 2002 it won the “Satisfied Customer of the South Bohemian Region” award from the Czech Consumer Association.
Since 2003 it has been a member of the ATIC (Association of Tourist Information Centers of the Czech Republic) and a South Bohemian Fairytale Office, promoting the regional project “Fairytale South Bohemia”.
The information center was awarded the “Information Center of 2013”, “Information Center of 2014” and “Information Center of 2015” for the South Bohemian Region. In 2015, it received the 1st degree certificate under the Czech Service Quality System.
