- The information center focuses on the provision of information for incoming visitors and citizens from near and far.
- Sales of ceramic products made by the local ceramic society.
- Visitors will also find information leaflets and a selection of interesting books.
- Visitors to our IC can also enjoy quick refreshments and a nice setting for a coffee, where they can reflect on their experiences from visiting Plástovice.
- We naturally provide also free internet by means of WiFi and a desktop PC, scanning, copying and printing as per arrangement.
History
In August 2009, the new South Bohemian Rustic Baroque Information Center was newly opened in Plástovice, with wheelchair access. The information center was newly built and co-funded by the European Union from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development as part of the Protection and Development of Rural Cultural Heritage project; it was equipped with new PCs with internet access, including one for the public. Since 1995, Plástovice has been a Rural Heritage Reserve under Government Regulation No. 127/1995 Coll. of 24 May 1995, along with nearby Malé Chrášťany.
