Chateau Orlík 

There used to be a Gothic castle on the rocky point high above the river, used as a customhouse collecting the fee for river navigation. However, the dam built in the 20th century moved the castle right above its surface. Come tour this centuries-old mansion of one of the most famous noble families in Bohemia! Chateua Březnice

Orginally a water keep, converted in the 16th century into a Renaissance chateau. A renaissance garden, a herb garden, and an English park surround the buildings. More info: www.zamek-breznice.cz/en. 

Chateau Blatná

The town’s typical white and red entrance tower of the water castle from stone was built at the end of the Middle Ages under the rule of Lords of Rožmitál (Rosental). They held high state positions, loved luxurious life styles and were inspired by advanced culture of the Western European nobility. The reconstruction of the old palace into the splendid three fl oor Gothic and Renaissance palace was assigned to Benedict Rejt, the famous master builder working in royal services. Chateau Lnáře

Is a picturesque but dominating landmark of the village of the same name in West Bohemia, about 50 km southwest of Plzeň. When inside, you should definitely not miss the massive Baroque and Rococo wall paintings with motifs from classical legends and Greek mythology. It is an ideal starting point for biking trips and sightseeing tours around South and West Bohemia.
