The core of this castle still conceals the remains of the original fortress from the 14th century. Today's Renaissance building was built after 1530 and was modified several times. The castle interiors on the first floor reflect the period of the 1680's, representing the authentic aristocratic appearance of the noble suites during the last owners from around 1910. Part of the castle complex is a pond and a landscaped park which acquired its present form at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
