Located in Holašovice is an almost completely preserved medieval complex of residential houses and granaries, connected by enclosing walls with gates and arched entrances to the village square. This layout, along with the preserved stucco design (so-called Popular or Rural Baroque) on the majority of facades, gives the village a unique atmosphere and expression.
In Holašovice, we will find farms with granaries, farmsteads, stables and parts of houses for old parents, but also a blacksmith’s workshop, a pub and a chapel. In addition, wells with wooden piston pumps in front of the homesteads are unique.
