Augustinian Monastery and Church of Our Lady the Queen and S

One of the most important religious buildings in Třeboň is the Church of St. Giles and Our Lady the Queen in the Augustinian Monastery. The structure is an architecturally pure double-nave church built in 1367-1384. The site is the origin of the altar painting by the Master of Třeboň and the Třeboň Madonna sculpture, both excellent works of Czech High Gothic art. The oldest part of the monastery is the cloister with Gothic and Baroque murals and Gothic Chapel of St. Vincent.
